Irish Dancing Girls

Irish dance has got to be one of the most interesting dance styles out there. Here's a clip featuring the Avalon-Dance Academy. Notice, how the dancers maintain their upper bodies during their routines. Very Jacksonesque, I think. Additionally, this clip has some terrific Irish alternative music by Red Skin Noxe.  

Irish dancers in modern Irish dancing costumes, wearing makeup and ringleted wigs. Each Irish dance school has its own distinctive full skirted dress, often featuring lace or an embroidered pattern copied from the medieval Irish Book of Kells. 

Interesting side note: After having YouTubed several clips of Irish Dance, a disturbing trend emerged: The Irish are afraid to show legs. That's not very Anglo-Saxon, is it?
