Midnight City by M83

This melody is truly out of this world and very fitting for a band that goes by the name of a galaxy. But I am not sure I understand the lyric very much. The opening line is, about a car. I can't help but think of Dude, Where's My Car?. For those of you that don't know... here's what I think is a funny description of the movie:

Dude, Where's My Car? is a 2000 American stoner comedy film directed by Danny Leiner. The film stars Ashton Kutcher and Seann William Scott as two young men who find themselves unable to remember where they parked their vehicle after a night of recklessness.
